Havana Retro is an intelligent combination of various talents that fuse hip hop with the most diverse traditional rhythms of the Cuba and the region such salsa, timba, son, rumba, conga, zamba, reggaeton and reggae.

The lyrics of their music differentiate the band from others in their genre and put a very individual stamp on their music.

2009 Yo soy Habanaloko
2006 The album 'The Macry present The Operation Dirty urban sounds Vol 1' by Termidor Musikverlag, Germany, (18 of November of the 2005) to date (18 of March of the 2006) has sold but of 100 000 copies in Europe and United States since its launch.
2005 Single 'Lloraras' from the album ' Proyecto la Operation Retro' was chosen to a popular Cuban programme as one of the most requested songs of the week
2005 In December 'Lloraras' was selected amongst the ten most listened songs of the year in the programme Juventud 2000 in the Cuban radio.
2003 One of the most popular groups of Cuba, Climax, does a compilation with 2 of the members of Habana Retro of 'Get busy' (written by the prestigious singer-songwriter Jamaican Sean Paul). It gets broadcasted in the Cuban TV programmes.
2001 Eliesen Marques Duany created a hit single 'Asedio' that was played across the clubs in Havana but didn't get released until November 2009.
