| Background |
Leximan was born in Santiago de Cuba and was influenced by traditional Cuban music: salsa, rumba and Latin reggae. In 1996 he registered at the Alejandro Garcia Caturla School of Music for singing lessons and after two years he joined a group of young musicians for a salsa project as a lead singer.
A few years later in 2000 he created the album 'Revelation Faray' with another Cuban, Neto Man, and together they released a single 'Stand up rasta', that was soon played all over Cuba. |
